Before anyone buys from you, joins you or invests in you, they clear four checkpoints, usually without noticing, and there are decades of research behind each one:

Do I know you exist, and do you feel familiar?

Do you understand me?

Do I believe your offer will work for someone like me?

Is it safe to say yes?

Robert Zajonc showed that simple familiarity makes people like things more. Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky showed that losses weigh roughly twice as heavily as equivalent gains, which is why "safe" so often beats "exciting" at the moment of decision.

Trust doesn't pile up in one big reservoir, either. It resets every time you ask for something different, so your story has to do its job at every stage, from the first LinkedIn post or advert to the signed contract. That's why we build the story before we build anything else.

Everyone starts with the story

1. Narrative, Positioning & Implementation

Where every client starts

We begin with whichever audience is currently holding you back: customers and clients, candidates and your team, or investors and backers.

The method is the same but the brains we're writing for change.

How it runs

  1. Getting it out of your head. A short set of pre-session questions, then a deep-dive session where we dig into what you do, who it's for and what your audience currently believes about you.

  2. Building the story. We turn that into your core narrative and positioning: who your ideal clients, candidates or investors are, and what's going on in their heads, how you're different, how you sound, and the messages that carry you through each of the four checkpoints.

  3. Putting it to work. The story then goes into whatever it needs to live in. That might be your website, sales conversations, a pitch deck, recruitment and onboarding materials, LinkedIn, or a mixture. You'll see it working in the real world rather than sitting in a drawer.

What you walk away with: a story your whole team can tell the same way, the documents to keep it consistent, and the first pieces already out in the world doing their job.

2. Ongoing Support

Keeping the story working

Stories have a habit of drifting. New people join, new offers appear, and within a year the business is being described five different ways again. Ongoing support stops that happening, and you can choose how involved we are.

  • Strategic partner. Your team does the work and we steer it: regular strategy sessions, reviewing what's going out, planning content and keeping everything on-story.

  • We do the doing. On top of the strategy, we produce and run the work for you. Pick the pieces you need, from socials to website updates, SEO, design, careers pages, email campaigns or anything else.

3. Speaking & Training

The science, live

Talks and workshops on the psychology of why people buy, join and back, for conferences, leadership teams and in-house sales, marketing and people teams. Expect real research, real examples and at least one story about Walt Disney.

Audience Lenses

Every service above can be shaped through the lens of your market, your people or your investors.

Whatever service you choose, the work always returns to the same intention. One core truth at the centre, shaped with care for the people who need to hear it, so your organisation can move with more clarity, less strain and a story that finally does its job.
